What Authorized Generics Mean for the Mechanism

A generic semaglutide maintains identical pharmacodynamic action to brand Ozempic: sustained activation of GLP-1 receptors on pancreatic beta cells (enhancing glucose-dependent insulin secretion), delayed gastric emptying via vagal signaling, and centrally-mediated appetite suppression through hypothalamic ARC neuron modulation.
