Endotoxin Testing

Laboratory testing that detects bacterial endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides) in injectable preparations. Endotoxin contamination can cause fever, inflammation, and potentially fatal septic shock. All sterile injectables from quality pharmacies should have documented endotoxin testing results on their COA.
