TRUTH IN PEPTIDES

Glossary

Reconstitution

The process of adding a sterile diluent (typically bacteriostatic water) to a lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powder to create an injectable solution. Proper reconstitution technique is critical for maintaining peptide stability and sterility. The diluent should be added slowly along the vial wall to avoid damaging the peptide.
